Villa Ios Blue enjoys a prime location, only 5 mins walk to two sandy beaches (Koumbara and Tzamaria beach), and just a few minutes drive to Gialos beach (1.3km), Ios port (2km) and Ios Chora (3.5km). Two well known restaurants are located within walking distance. 

We recommend you hire a car during your stay (preferably a 4x4) as this will be the best way to explore the island, however, if you wish, you may also rent scooters or use public transportation. There is a regular bus service throughout the summer to the port, Chora or Mylopotas beach.  

​For those who would enjoy a walk by the sunset or sunrise, you may visit the lighthouse of the Ios bay entrance which is located at the end of the peninsula where the villa is. You may reach the lighthouse via an old dirt road (a quite enjoyable 500m).
